Kalipur Eco Village is situated at Ramsai Gram Panchayat under Jalpaiguri district, West Bengal, India.
It is a wonderful place to stay at night at bamboo cottage with a jungle environment. Check in time in the cottage is about 12 to 1pm. After getting lunch at 4 to 5 pm you will be visited jungle wild animal like rinho, elephant, deer, bison etc from Methla watch tower with the assistant of cottage guide. During this ride the baffollo journey from the cottage to watch tower is more interesting. At 6 pm evening enjoyment will gear up with local folk dance.
Next morning the elephant safari will be conducted in Kalipur jungle and so many wild animal may be seen near Methla. The total package of this tour will met within Rs.6000.00 to 8000.00
How to reach Kalipur Eco Village?
By Road: Lataguri is the nearest town from where you can locate this Eco-Village. Tourists can also travel from Siliguri as well. By Rail: New Jalpaiguri (NJP) is the nearest station. Trains from almost parts of India do connect here. From NJP, one has to travel for around 2 to 3 hours to reach Kalipur.
By Air: Bagdogra is the nearest airport, Located around 80 kilometres away. Cars on hire are available from here as well.
When to visit Kalipur Eco Village Gorumara?
Best time to visit this place is between October and April. During the monsoon, most of the parks remain closed.
